This chart represents average recommended daily portions. You may need to feed slightly more or less, depending on your dog’s activity level and overall fitness. Adult Dogs: Adult dogs with normal activity may be fed the recommended amount in 2 meals daily. Depending on your dog’s age and activity, serving sizes may vary slightly from the recommended daily feeding guide portions.
Weaning Puppies:Â Start puppies on Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe as soon as they begin to chew on solid food, usually 3 – 4 weeks of age. Allow them to eat as much as they want until fully weaned (6 – 8 weeks of age).
Growing Puppies:Â Feed 2 – 3 times the amount recommended for the corresponding Adult weight, in 3 meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily until 12 months. If desired, Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe can be fed moistened. To feed moistened, mix 1 cup of water to 2 of Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe.
For pregnant females, feed daily 1.5 times the amount shown for their non – pregnant weight.
For lactating females, feed daily up to 3 times the amount shown for their non – pregnant weight.
Slowly mix Nutrish® with his other food over a 5 – 10 day period until your dog is solely eating Rachael Rayâ„¢ Nutrish®. Once your dog is only eating Nutrish, keep in mind that feeding guidelines on the bag are a guide. Your dog’s individual needs will vary based upon his size, his activity level and even his age. And overfeeding is a common source of digestive upset. Be sure to check your dog’s weight and adjust feeding levels to maintain a healthy weight.
